The Waste Hierarchy

Waste producers are required by law (Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011) to apply the “Waste Hierarchy”, a ranked list of options to reduce the environmental impact of waste.

At Pegasus we have considerable experience in helping our customers in various industries to apply the waste hierarchy and meet their legal obligations. This also has additional benefits such as reduced operating costs.

In other cases, by-products or excess materials that are considered waste may be suitable for use in other processes, and so could provide additional revenue.
